What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a form of guided meditation which leads to a meaningful interaction between the client and hypnotist. By being attentive and receptive to each other, the client will more easily follow instructions, and become highly responsive to suggestions to bring about a higher level of well-being.
Hypnosis refers to a state or condition in which the client becomes highly responsive to suggestions. They may hear, see, feel, smell or taste in accordance with the suggestions given.
It is in these highly responsive states that the client is most receptive to making the changes they are looking for, whether it's self improvement, stress management, sports enrichment, and so much more.

Skeptical , that was me. I doubted that I could be hypnotized but was sure willing to try. When trying to explain the experience, the word that comes to mind is relaxed. I had no other feelings other than complete relaxation. The first words out of my mouth when Joan said the procedure took about 15 minutes, was “Boy that was weird” because I said it was about 3 minutes. This first experience only wanted me to try again, but this time I had a purpose. Being the sweetness Queen of the family, I asked Joan if she could convince me to eat sweet desserts only once a week. Well, so far so good. I can walk by the cookie jar without taking one, not like the two I would take before. I can hear Joan’s voice encouraging me (which sometimes is a pain) but so far so good. This is a free service to introduce you what hypnotherapy is all about, and what you can expect during a session. The process will be described and you can feel free to ask any questions. It will also give you a chance to meet your hypnotherapist beforehand. The consultation will only take about
No Charge for this Service
For groups of 5 or more people. What hypnosis is, and what it can be used for will be explained. The group will then experience a brief relaxing hypnosis, and a select few will go deeper into hypnosis, receiving uplifting suggestions.
This session can be done at my location, or it can take place at your facility. Demonstrations last approximately 45 minutes.
A relaxed form of guided meditation to assist with a wide variety of concerns, from stress and anxiety relief, fears, phobias; help with motivation, sleeping, cession of bad habits (nail biting, teeth grinding, etc); to assisting with certain memory recall (misplaced items, forgotten information, etc). Age regression and past life regression are also available. Session lasts approximately 60-90 minutes
A 60 minute Skype session - one on one - will be very similar to an in-person session. Please book online, listing what you are looking to accomplish during the session. You will be emailed, or called, and a convenient time set up for the session. Uninterrupted time is essential for an effective session, so please keep that in mind when scheduling.
This is a package deal, and the best value by far. Even though some issues or concerns may only require one visit, there are many that are benefited by having two or three sessions. This program is a package of four sessions so you are getting great value for your money. Sessions still last 60-90 minutes each.
It is not uncommon to hear the lack of awareness surrounding hypnotherapy. Most of this is derived from TV shows, movies, and often stage hypnosis. And while the stage version of hypnotism is extremely entertaining and comedic, it is not hypnotherapy.:
Loss of Consciousness
This could not be further from the truth. In order to have a successful hypnotherapy session, the client must be able to follow instructions, and FOCUS on what the hypnotist is saying. This is carried throughout the session, so in truth, the client will be even more focused during hypnosis than before.
Surrender of Will
Again, there is a misunderstanding about this. The client does not surrender himself to the hypnotist, nor "submit to his/her power". The client has complete control at all times - can talk, move, hear... even get up and leave if that is what they wish. The client is capable of making decisions at all times.
Weak Minded or Gullible
Some believe that only people with these traits can be hypnotized. The truth is, because hypnosis requires concentration, the best clients are actually the more intelligent of the population.
Rest assured... you will not say, or do, anything while under hypnosis that you would not normally say or do. As mentioned above, you will hear and remember everything that happens during the session. And so, if you are aware of everything while in hypnosis, revealing information you don't want made public would surely not happen.
This is not an uncommon concern regarding hypnosis, believe it or not. Some people are hesitant because of worries that something will happen to the hypnotist, and they will be "stuck in hypnosis" forever. This is an impossibility. Being in hypnosis feels like you're in a daydream, and if something untimely or unforeseen should happen to the hypnotist, then you would either just fall asleep and have a pleasant nap, or hunger and/or bathroom needs would emerge you.
